The Liverpool Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. with assistance from Liverpool Council have organised a major event for Liverpool.
The Liverpool Food and Wine Festival will be held on the 16th and 17th October 2010 at Woodward Park will be an annual event.
“This event has been created to showcase the diverse cultures of Liverpool. With local entertainers, plenty of food, children’s rides and activities, this is designed to be a fun day for all the family. To top it off we have a fireworks display on the Saturday night,” says Harry Hunt, President of Liverpool Chamber.
A stage area is available for local community entertainers. Stalls will be available
for individuals and groups to showcase and sell food items on the weekend. Other features of the weekend include, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, barista competitions and lots more.
“We have over 176 different cultures represented in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity to showcase the “World in One City”. We are offering stalls at minimal prices to cover costs, we want this to be a successful event and to help boost tourism in Liverpool,” says Daniel Mangion, Secretary of Liverpool Chamber.
