One of Sydney's longest-standing eateries, our cafe has changed ownership a few times since opening in 1952. It's now back in good hands with the Hili family, who have been making the tasty pastry goodies in Sydney since the late 1950s and prior to that, Malta, from circa 1930. Tuck into bargain-priced flaky pastries filled with spinach and ricotta, peas, chicken and mushroom, chili con carne or blueberry and sweetened ricotta cheese and you'll quickly understand why this style of food claims so many devotees.
